Taco Bell is looking for an energetic Assistant RESTAURANT MANAGER at our Restaurants located in Saskatoon, SK. The ideal candidate should be able to provide support to the Restaurant Manager in effectively managing the operations of the restaurant on a day-to-day basis within the policies and guidelines of the company. The successful candidate must also be able to help ensure customer satisfaction, team member engagement/retention and cost controls.

The Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Restaurant Manager on success metrics and lead restaurant team to reach goals
  • Provide Operation support to other locations within the province.
  • Ownership of the guest experience that includes friendly interactions, a clean restaurant and hot & fresh meals.
  • In partnership with the restaurant manager, grow and mentor team through training and hiring
  • Effectively communicate goals, promotions, business updates, etc.
  • Help lead the overall positive and collaborate family environment
  • Consistently demonstrate “How we work together principles” and “Recognition Programs”
  • Provide support in Inventory controls – forecasting, ordering, and inventory counts
  • Create schedules that achieve operational excellence, promote customer service and control cost of labor; utilizing company approved tools.
  • Ensure cash control and security procedures are in place and maintained, in support to the restaurant manager.
  • In collaboration with the Restaurant Manager, help review and maintain financial controls; act as necessary based on company targets.
  • Adhere to Occupational Health and Safety act, local health and safety codes and company safety/security policies/procedures
  • Help recruit and select qualified team members utilizing approved tools and systems
  • Provide support to the manager in conducting performance reviews as per company policy
  • Resolve customer complaints
  • Ensure maintenance of equipment/facility/grounds through the use of a preventative maintenance plan based on corporate standards.
  • Consistently coach team regarding GES (Guest Experience Survey) to meet the company’s minimum of completed surveys per period and continually work with team to achieve and maintain OSAT (Overall Satisfaction) target of 80% or higher.
