In this role, you will demonstrate a Growth Mindset as you lead the financial modelling, forecasting, scenario analysis and performance measurement for the Pizza Hut brand. You will be a critical member of the team as you use your analytical skills to derive insights and proactively present business recommendations to Senior Management as a thought partner.
 

Core Duties/Responsibilities (includes but not limited to):

1 - Thought Partnering:

• Use analytical and critical thinking skills to derive insights from data analyses and present recommendations to Senior Manager, Brand Director and the Pizza Hut Leadership team

• As a key member of the team, perform unstructured analyses with urgency focusing on (but not limited to): food and packaging costs, consumer pricing comparisons, breakeven and profitability analysis, sales and unit mix analysis, root cause and scenario analysis

• Lead the promotional performance evaluation cycle by involving key members of the crossfunctional team. Identify key insights through fact-driven analysis and present business recommendations and key improvements to Senior Management and the Brand team

• Partner with franchisees and sister brands to gain insight into business results and drivers, enabling better insights, recommendations and business decisions, while also providing them with financial expertise as required

2 - Corporate Submissions & Forecasts:

• Assist Senior Manager with the Strategic planning process, including goal setting, coordinating brainstorm sessions, gaining alignment from the senior team, preparing long-term forecasts, and presentations on a quarterly basis

• Lead the sales forecasting process and modelling & presentation, by liaising with Brand team counterparts to understand planned promotions, business impacts related to online, aggregator and delivery sales channels while also understanding macro-economic challenges & holiday shifts

• Refine the sales forecasting model to strike a balance between having enough details to meet business needs while also having the flexibility and simplicity to be used by other members of the cross-functional team. Continuous improvement in this aspect is critical
• Assist the Senior Manager with diverse Financial Modelling Projects, including Quarterly Corporate Forecasts and Annual Plans, and special projects as needed and with urgency

3 - Reporting & Data Infrastructure:

• Manage internal and external sales reporting efficiently, including understanding performance and explaining insights and impacts to the business consistently
• Lead head office periodic management letter reporting, weekly sales and business driver reporting, and all other external ad hoc reports, as well as becoming the point of contact for inquiries around business performance and plans with the Planning team at Pizza Hut International in Dallas
• Key data center lead and contact person for outsourced data vendor in Dubai. Focusing effort on continuously improving on and automating data reporting and analysis offshore
• Spearhead the Data Evolution project for the Pizza Hut Brand, enabling consumer-driven action plans and data insights to drive business results across all aspects of the business (Brand & Development)
• Identify process improvement opportunities and disseminate best practices from sister brands & PHI
• Perform ad-hoc analyses and lead other special projects

Key Qualifications:
 

• Demonstrates a ‘Growth Mindset’
• University Degree in Business and Finance with a minimum of 4-5 years proven financial planning, reporting, and analytical experience
• Pursuing your CPA would be an asset
• Strong leadership and influencing skills are essential
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• Prior QSR industry experience will be considered an asset
• Proven self-starter with a very strong drive for continuous improvement
• Ability to work in a fast-faced, cross functional environment to meet tight deadlines
